In the months leading up to the relaunch of kntu.com, we lost the use of video news from the Associated Press. But now it's back.
The A-P's Online Video Network material is once again available with information about the latest news stories. When you click on a story, you'll first see a short commercial (hey, that's what keeps the OVN service afloat) followed by the news. We're still working on a few things for the website, like the KNTU Tower Cam. The image, as you probably know, has been frozen for several weeks. We are working to fix the problem. In addition to the website work we've been doing, there's also a studio upgrade that we'll launch soon which will allow you to see music information about what's playing on the air, if you've got an RDS equipped radio. Like with all new things there are likely to be a problem here or there that you might hear on the air as we launch this new audio playback software in the studio. The launch date is set for Tue., Jan. 19, the first day of the spring semester at UNT as we get started with a new slate of DJs on KNTU.
