Any student enrolled in classes at the University of North Texas may apply to work at KNTU.
- Some students, such as those in the Department of Media Arts (MRTS or CBCM majors) or the Mayborn School of Journalism may earn practicum course credit or internship course credit, respectively, for their work at KNTU; students in other majors throughout the university may be able to work with their academic advisors to also receive some form of credit toward their degrees.
Please fill out the form below to indicate which volunteer / practicum / internship position(s) you are interested in, and how we can contact you (email and phone). We’ll review your application and contact you to set up an interview and/or audition. Please fill out the form completely — including your full name — and you could soon be on your way to helping us entertain and/or inform listeners across North Texas on 88.1 HD1 FM (88.1 indie) / 88.1 HD2 FM (KNTU Jazz) and around the world on 881indie.com, kntu.com, and/or northtexasstreamingnetwork.com.
After submitting your application, you are encouraged to come by KNTU’s offices (RTFP 273 – 276) to verify receipt of your application and further express your interest in becoming part of the KNTU team.
